Gardening in the Shade is looking for your craft or DIY tutorial! It’s tough coming up with new interesting crafts and projects all the time, so we would love to have you visit. If you have a fantastic project or tutorial you would like to share, please read on for our contributor & guest posting guidelines and then fill out the contact form below!
Original Content Only!
New and original content only, we won’t publish content that is already published on another site. However, feel free to drop me a line and I may feature your project in one of our round-up posts! Once we publish your project or tutorial on Gardening in the Shade, it becomes the exclusive content of Gardening in the Shade for as long as this site remains operational. Should the owners of the site choose to shut-down the site, ownership reverts back to the contributor at that time and we will attempt to notify you by email.
Provide Clear Instructions with your Tutorial
We want our readers to feel they can acheive similar results if they follow your instructions, so please make them clear and easy to follow. Pictures of individual steps and tricky bits are helpful so the more the merrier. Please provide at least one photo of the finished item in portrait orientation for a Pinterest graphic. Even better, send 2 – one portrait, one landscape.
Your contribution will link back to your site if you have one, so please send a thumbnail or logo and a brief introductory paragraph for yourself and your site. You may also include links to 3 of your social media accounts. The post will link to your site twice, once at the beginning and again at the end with your contributor information. Having your own site isn’t necessary – we welcome all contributors with a great project to share.
Content and Contributor’s Site must meet our Community Guidelines.
Gardening in the Shade is an inclusive site for everybody who enjoys crafting and gardening, no matter their race, religion or sex. This site will never knowingly link to a site that encourages or endorses homophobia, racism, xenophobia, or sexism. Should the owners of Gardening in the Shade become aware you are promoting any of the above, we will remove your content and links immediately.
